Anyone who doesn't like cheating should avoid this one, otherwise it's an okay work, the art is pretty, the plot is mid, all the characters are flawed and I tagged it as Tragedy. For the horny ones: the smut is good .
[ SUMMARY ] We are at chapter 17, at this point the Alpha needs to come clean about the cheating already and either break up with the Beta or stop seeing the Omega and move on with his relationship with the B while they work on rebuilding trust, if that's what they choose, either way he should have said the truth already. Now, according to Spoilers this isn't what's going to happen. So, buckle up for this shitshow: The Omega is the Beta's Mother, the Beta also cheats, the Omega ends up pregnant with the Alpha's baby. The Beta and Alpha break up, the Beta decides to go abroad and the Alpha takes responsibility and stays with the Omega.
[ FULL REVIEW / SPOILERS ] Turns out that the Omega is the Beta's mother, you see the Omega is an orphan who unfortunately got pregnant when he was a teen, the Chaebol Alpha that is B's father told the O to get an abortion and that he wouldn't take responsibility, because of that the Beta was mostly raised by babysitters, since the Omega had to work in order to support and raise his child by himself but didn't want to give up on his studies. That caused the Beta to feel detached of the Omega, even telling others his mother is dead. When the Beta was a teenager he grew to admire his Chaebol Alpha Father that to this day refuses to assume him as his child, later the Omega tried to rebuild their mother/daughter relationship but the Beta never truly wanted to rekindle the relationship. I do not have a clear grip on all of their personalities but in short: They're are all flawed. The O seems to not have much of a moral compass, he is pretty much a workaholic that lives for work and studying. The A is a hypocritical douche who claims to love the B but goes out of his way to cheat him with O, even while knowing it isn't right that doesn't stop him, his only concern is getting caught. The B is also flawed, he rathers someone who never wanted him to be born over someone who tried and his dislike of the O is the sole reason why he never wanted for them (A and B) to meet each other's family.
When the A and O realize that the Omega is Alpha's boyfriend mother's, they regret everything and call it quits but keep quiet about the cheating out of the fear of hurting the Beta's feelings. However the Plot Twist is that at this point, the Beta would be also cheating on the A, with his friend from College that is also a Beta, which causes the A and the B to break up. Honestly, they're all cheating and I'm all in for the Beta's happiness.
Then here it comes the actual bomb: The Omega discovers he's pregnant with the Alpha's baby, the A decides to take responsibility and assume the child, they come clean about everything to the B that gets so shocked he decides to leave and goes away to study abroad. The A and the O end up being together, at this point both the A and the B do not hold any feelings for each other other than friendship and the A decides to try to be a good Stepdad for the B, perhaps out of guilt, and checks on him during his study abroad to make sure he's fine, happy and safe. That's it, that's the end, they all have a somewhat weird happy end.
[ THEORY ] I do have a theory that the Alpha was probably subconsciously attracted to B due to the O pheromones remains or something, because the A did say that he always thought the B smelled good/attractive, even though he was a Beta, he also never got attracted to any Omega in his life and was with the B since highschool/puberty where in this universe the Alphas usually get obsessed over an Omega during this time, like his mom and his sister, still he was immediately attracted to the O and continued that way even after the heat/rut/pheromones leaking stopped.
[ OPNION ] Now, please don't misunderstand me, cheating is wrong, the first 2 times it happened could be explained that it was due to heat/rut/leaking pheromones and when I say that it could be explained, understanding the circumstances doesn't mean that the thing itself needs to be forgiven or forgotten, that does not make it right or excusable at all, in fact the Alpha should have said the truth and stopped it immediately, explaining does not make it right, there's no such thing as a valid excuse for that type of behavior. The fact that the Omega turns out to be the Beta's mother's and to get pregnant definitely makes things worse, just like the plot twist that the Beta cheats too and no, it wasn't "revenge cheating" because it was before he even knew the Alpha cheated. That said, I do think it's a bit funny how the overall community (in the social medias/forums/reading sites etc) keep telling others not to read this one, hating the work/author, leaving reviews on how this is one of the worst things they ever read etc, but then go off to read something that involves kidnapping, rapping, murdering and recommending it, leaving good reviews and defending the work/author... I'm guessing everything's fine as long there's no cheating involved? D:
