I know Riftan really cares for Maxi. Even though some are saying read his POV you will understand him blah blah, I did but Riftan making Maxi believe that what she wants to achieve is IMPOSSIBLE for her is going to stunt her growth. She will always believe that she's unworthy of Riftan. Are her actions reckless? Yes but we grow from our mistakes. Riftan needs to get it inside his head that Maxi is supposed to be his wife and therefore, HIS EQUAL.
