It's insane how Takamine's emotional maturity was stunted because of the strict upbringing he was put through. He doesn't even understand the boundaries between friends and lovers. It felt unfair for Takamine to be the only one wanting to desperately be in a relationship with Okumura. I wanted Okumura to actually put SOME effort to be with Takamine instead of constantly rejecting him. This would have been a full star in my book if not for the one sided pinning on Takamine's side.
Friendships have fall out too, just like romantic relationships. Being friends doesn't mean that you won't end up falling out with your friends one day. Okumura's logic made zero sense to me, lol.
