After getting hit by the truck, our older yeon-ho goes into coma and the alternative ending of both the ML in their classroom is just him dreaming. When in reality, our younger Jae-ha narrowly escaped from that truck and did wait for yeon-ho as he(yeon -ho) wanted. But when they were finally able to meet; the accident happened and now it's Jae-ha's turn to wait for yeon-ho (to wake up) ಥ_ಥ
