This translator note was wrong, seijirou's age wasnt stated at all in chapter 1 only the age gap. That translator must be really bad at proofreading because i looked multiple times and it wasnt there so where they got the idea that he was 32 idk.

Its stated that Ryou is underrage but seijirou is '三十歳' which means thirty in japanese. Im sure in some context it could mean someone is in their thirties but in this one its clearly stated that hes 30. Im gonna give you a short lesson on japanese here. This is 2 in kanji '二', this is 3 in kanji '三', this is 10 in kanji '十' and this is age in kanji '歳' (though '才' is more commonly used). This is what 32 looks like: '三十二歳' and this is what 30 looks like '三十歳' as you can see theres a very distinct difference between the two which is the '二'. In chapter 5 its stated hes thirty and then right next to it its made clear that Ryou is underrage.

At the start it says hes about 12 years younger than him which means he must have been 29 at the start and turned thirty somewhere along the way (aligning with the storyline which said they'd known each other for a year).

So no, Ryou wasn't 20 he was 17 and turned 18 somewhere before he graduated. Seijirou is a predator, and Ryou was a vulnerable teenager. Im sure you took the translators notes at face value which i dont judge you for but seems like that translator was VERY confused haha. Have a great day

Im gonna trust what ive seen from the raws ch 5+ and say hes thirty but man this whole translation issue is kinda annoying. Even if he is 32 there would still be an issue because the mangaka it clear ryou is underage..feels like they have a sort of sleeping with someone whos underage fantasy

The romantic aspects are very cute but serijirou is a predator, going after someone in highschool and grooming them isnt ok. It irritates me how its romaticised, the story was really cute if you pretend like Ryou is in college but on a serious note, relationships like this aren't ok. Seijirou groomed and molested Ryou when he was still underage and pursued a relationship as soon as it was legal. Its hard to see people saying its not a big deal, this is a real world issue.
