I just remembered! It’s not a one shot but rather a part of some Arabian nights 101 stories type of thing (don’t remember the exact name tho)
I tried to search it as a one-shot because it had only one chapter, but I think it was part of a compiled one-shot BL manga that I commonly encountered. I've read this manga since 2011. I regret having a disorganized, unlabeled, and messy bookmark.

looking for one shot of BL and a tragic ending. It's kind of an Egyptian tribe theme. Mc got a crush on his childhood friend. He wants to confess, but he heard that his childhood friend was about to be married to another girl. So he decided to plot an assassination, but the plot twist, I think, is to kill his childhood crush after he confesses. I'm looking for it again; please help me find it.
