For real. It really backtracks the progress to change it from "I love you" to "I think I'm falling for you." I wish we could see how it was originally said in Korean bc that would help the context so much.

I checked the raws. In both ch 85 and 86 he said 좋아해요, 형 (literal: i like you, hyung). I like you here is truly meant to be taken romantically context-wise for both chs. The fact that he's also using hyung. We're missing a lot of hyung culture/context as well from the translation too

They really should have gone with "I'm falling for you" in the first place then (or "I've fallen for you") since it's obviously meant to be more serious than how "I like you" sounds in English but isn't quite at the "I love you"/saranghae level yet. And you're right, I miss how the fan translations always kept in the "hyung"s bc they really are significant when sangwoo uses them, especially since he only says hyung when he's feeling deeply. I lowkey miss the fan translations bc they seemed to do a better job of context in general than the official one does tbh.
