If you want him to be in love with bum. Or
If you want him to see bum as his possession (object) till the very end. Or it could be that he regretted what he did to bum when his life flashed before his eyes and was in physical pain???? Who knows. The author kept it open ended. I personally like the 2nd option but yeah...if he really was or was not in love with bum the author would have made it clear as water. Imo.

In the last chapter (the Q&A) the question was asked if „Sangwoo really loved Bum“ and the author said „you‘ll know if you read the last episode“ BUT I DON‘T KNOWWW
Help, there were so many indicators that he could or could not have loved Bum (like the calling his name in the hospital or when he said he kept the picture but the police didn‘t find it) So what did the author mean?? Did Sangwoo love Bum or not?
