It's hard when the strongest one that is the most reliable for you is incompetent at protecting the things you hold dear. Also I don't blame her, who would have known the kids believe in incest
I totally agree. Sadly, Curtis gets the most screen time because the author prefers him above all the others. Even in the novel, it was evident that Curtis is and always will be a complete jerk. Everything he does is for his own benefit and because he wants to possess Bai Qingqing. His obsession with her is seriously weird and canonically, Curtis is supposedly 40 which is so fucking weird because we know Bai Qingqing is freaking 16. So there's that, too. Some people say it's because of him being a snake that he's a jerk but that's no excuse for not explaining how that world works and how Snakes operate with their children. But even still - Curtis would kill all his kids and also Parker's/Winston/Muir's kids if it means they got in his way. He also only had kids because he knew it would keep Bai Qingqing around. And Curtis consistently manipulates Bai Qingqing at every turn.
Suffice to say, I hate Curtis and I wish he'd drop off the face of the earth.
I'm just saying if I got transported to another world I'd trust the judgement of the ones who LIVE THERE. she constantly gets herself and mates in trouble b.c she thinks she knows better. Also when it comes to having kids In that world she needs to see that they won't be human babies and of course her mates will know how to raise or ensure their survival.
Of course Curtis didn't properly explain WHY it's important to separate from the little snakes and did it without her so of course FL wanted to keep close to her only snake baby.
And Curtis is just a whole walking red flag. HE DROPPED ANAN ONTO HOT SAND. I'd have ripped his ears for that. And he's constantly thinking on just killing anan all together.
At the very least she should entrust her kids with their biological dad and make sure her other mates don't bully or harass the kids.
