i think the timeline doesn't match, i guess he got a hatred for monks after nikus master and he said he killed any monks who entered his territory so i guess ankei's master was unrelated to all this bc it would be like 10 to 20 years since the death of ankeis master and so much longer since he had a black snake body. also he didn't kill the first monk if i remember correctly he just left him to suffer
