I'd wish him well. In Chinese Novel vocabulary terms, I enjoy being a "Mom" fan rather than a "girlfriend" fan. ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶ it is like raising and supporting a son and feeling accomplished as he becomes famous, finds love, and starts a family.
If you see all your biases as just men you crush on and can't actually support them within their own lives then it's safe to say you don't deserve to be a fan of those idols.
