He lives in the present, and he can experience real emotions like anyone else. What he feels is real, even more without the imprinting.

It was hot, cute and adorable but bittersweet because Ren isn't real he just a love robot with maki,s dead lover memories and Dna. So basically Ren is a subsitute that is not a real person. So Maki doing the same thing real Ren was doing to him just being a subsitution for his brother the real ren wanted.So is this really a love story? That's kinda fucked up if you read deep inside the story but what ever make you happy I guess.
