Spoilers******
Thanks for the recap! I love the drama that comes with a toxic couple.
Two key groveling instances which would make the story much better.
1) if the MC finds out what the ML really thought of him at the beginning. Now that the ML is obsessed with him, the MC leaves him. So the ML grovels asking for forgiveness about his original intentions with the MC.
2) The ML and the MC break up after the memory loss and then the ML regrets it realizing his feelings for the MC. But by that point, the MC has seen the playboy side of him and the ML recovers his memories and intensely grovels.
Honestly with an a-hole ML I need them to be in agsty situations like this for me to come around :(
Sorry, I really don't like spoilers. Especially, on my own projects. It's kinda demoralizing. Because then, why the hell do I need to waste my time working on chapters?
Anyway, the original post is overall pretty misleading. It skips the plot of the entire main story. The portion that says "The mc never really finds out about this..." is absolutely wrong. Unless there's another ML POV in the side stories [which I yet to read], his feelings towards MC and his treatment of MC are also misrepresented. Just like their dynamic overall. The part about amnesia is one of the side stories, not the main story.
I don't want to offend the author of the post, but it looks like they didn't actually read the novel. Just glanced over some pages and made the conclusion based on that.
Apparently, i only read some of the story based on the translators words so for those who may have been turned away by the novel, just know that I might not have gotten the full picture
I read the novel and the ml didnt consciously like the mc in the beginning, he thought it would just be fun to play with the mc, sleep with him once and be done with it but then he decided he could sleep with the mc any time if they were in a relationship. The mc never really finds out about this which kinda pissed me off. I will say the ml was always lowkey attracted to the mc he was just in denial. while they are in the relationship, the ml becomes very obsessed with the mc and pretty much hates when he interacts with anyone, male or female. He doesnt want mc to work or live separately from him either. This is pretty much how the whole novel goes, they have sex a lot and they are obsessed with each other.
Toward the end of the novel, the ml loses his memory from a car accident and his original personality returns. Mc tries to get ml to remember their relationship but the last thing ml remembers is being annoyed with mc for trying to pretend hes experienced with women/sex. They sleep together once and then ml decides that he doesnt want to be tied to a relationship he doesnt remember, least of all with someone annoying like mc. Mc decides to back off and moves out of their shared home and agrees to the break up because he doesnt like the current ml, he misses the 'kind, sweet' ml that he knew. He hopes the ml memories will return and then they will get back together. Ml tries to go back to his playboy ways because thats really who he is at heart but of course he feels unexplained attachment to the mc and eventually grows attached to him again. Ml and mc get back together with the mc accepting the 'new' ml (but not really new because the ml was always a playboy asshole, he just never showed that side to mc)
ml memory does eventually come back and he even gets jealous of himself because he felt like his amnesia self is a different person and that the mc was basically dating someone else even thought its all him. They live together in a new home and thats how the story ends basically
