That's what I called diversion tactic of its finest. First turning off the light, making Jesse had a nightmare and then became the 'protector'. When that still didn't work with Jesse (boy, I love him for being so smart and badass), Law then moved to tears to win Jesse's pity. After all when you start taking pity on someone, you'll lose your guard toward that person. Silently controlling but looking submissive and pitiable in the outside. That's Law's tactic all the time and damn it, I knew it from the start but I kept getting played into his hand. ヽ(`Д´)ノ

This is such an intense psychological battle but thanks to this chapter I'm 100% sure now that Law can't be trusted.

Well... define bad guy. To be honest, I can't categorize anyone in this story being 'good' or 'bad'. For example I can't categorize Jesse into a 'good' guy in this story. Sure he's smart and badass but sometimes his way with the servants are... well...

About the reason. I'm still not sure yet what Law really intends to do with Jesse. I'm swaying between revenge or obsessed love or probably a mix of both. I don't think he tries to kill Jesse though. Death is too easy if Law intends to have a revenge on him and too unbearable if Law really obsesses over him and intends to possess him. But I could be wrong on this. Let's just see what happens next! ٩(๑❛ᴗ❛๑)۶
