I'd like to underline that the car scene is very recent at this point in time, that EH can't hear TJ's thoughts and has many reasons to question anything said to him, given the months or more of isolation, exploitation and such he's suffered

also TJ is contradicting himself so far, he may not want to let EH be free from him (considering his thoughts from chap 63, also it can be open to interpretation), and even though he claims he'll get rid of the debt that hasn't happened so far to my knowledge (I hope he'll be true to his word because that debt was unfair, illegal and a source of much suffering from the beginning)
It is unclear whether TJ will act based on his possessiveness or not
yup, not only is no one entitled to be loved, but for this duo in particular there are many reasons not to.
I think I know where's the story's going, and after all I think it's okay as a reader to wish for this or that development in a story.

I want mc to love ml a bit more .he just punch him and said bad words to him even after helping him so much and loving him so much but for his behaviours it's just alpha traits
