That was soooo random righhtt. Like the author literally used the mom as a plot device when the story gets off track like it isnt what she planned. When she was about to be evicted, nope mom! When they need reason for her to sign a contract, mom!
Why didn't she just ask to see her mother or where she is instead of money??
