THERES AN ANIME?! omg
yes!! it's currently airing and so far they've aired 4 episodes. they haven't covered the shinkansen bit in the anime, and there were very very veryyyy minor details changed that doesn't affect the original story at all.

just watched the anime and i'm so happy that they actually did the manga justice. the comedic timing, being borderline bl and everything was perfect! it's so nice to finally put a voice to each of their faces.
