So I’m sure as many of you know a lot of people are disappointed in the LNs ending with Maou ending up w Chiho…and I’m gonna be the one to say it,,, I like that they ended up together
But wait hear me out, maybe it’s just my own bias but I think it’s kind of refreshing (lol) they ended up together, a lot of people have been saying she’s just so big chested bimbo but I feel that she has a lot of character. Kind, and very loving…she accepted and supported chiho from the get go and was very (kinda) open about her feelings I thought it was refreshing.
I can get why a lot of people are upset as it did seem like there was possibility of an enemies to lovers, but I think it’s great because it was kinda unexpected. Like I said it might just be my bias because I tend to always prefer the “second lead” when it comes to romance in any story.
As far as a lot of other people saying “chiho isn’t a main character” I’ll agree to disagree because I personally feel that just isn’t true. She’s appeared a tremendous amounts of time in this story so to try and claim she’s just some side character is ludicrous. Yea the plot doesn’t focus on her but she is definitely one of the primary characters in the story if that makes sense?
Lastly I’d like to address the comments about the author. I just want to say some of you people are absolutely ridiculous with calling the author dumb for their decision on how to end THEIR story, you guys pushed and pushed for an ending and got it. It’s quite ridiculous how some people are sending death threats because emi x maou didn’t happen. Let’s actually get a grip, like please go outside and touch grass. I’ve seen a bunch not specifically on this site but “hopefully they’ll change the manga ending because all the death threats” personally if it was me I’d make the relationship between Emily and maou so undeniable then still put him with a Chiho just to spite y’all cause it’s RIDICULOUS.
Anyways that’s my Ted talk, also if anything doesn’t make sense it was like 5:20 am when I began typing this. I’m delirious and tired
