ACTUALLY- i think the scientist is quite attractive and that these two are a good pairing. also to be honest i agree that there doesn't NEED to be any sex, to be honest there never has to be sex ever (its cool but not necessary in ANY relationship) and that is whether the characters are smokin' or not.
the romanticism exists purely in the cannibalism- ("~im the only one who will accept you~") and the fact the teacher needs the scientist and the scientist sees the teacher as the culmination of not only his life's work but also his grandfather's! its hot! the whole thing!
