I think so too. And that orb thingy, maybe hyo-un still holding into it(since he never get to feed it to our guy) so that's why he is very sick in present day as the deer says if he tries to hold onto it , it will burden him.
I'm still trying to understand something (sorry don't remember the names) if in the presence the human ML has descendants does that mean they were unable to be together in the past?
Or maybe the dragon ML was told that he (human ML) would eventually be born into that family (mostly likely after a tragic death with the prince still looking for him) hence he always blessed that family until/in hopes that his love would be reborn again?
