Bls of this quality are harder to get compared to the 'standard' that never fail to come out by the hundreds. I can only find one or two yearly that I genuinely love that has no unnecessary or overly complicated messes. I find it crazy that the frontrunners are still ones that are filled with toxicity, major red flags or full of creepy tropes that keep being used. When I was younger, everytime I heard of or saw a popular yaoi it had those traits and it became my 'normal' until I found one that had a seme that wasn't a walking piece of shit plus an uke that had a backbone and it was pure shock to the system for me at the time because that was how low my expectations were for good characters to come out of a BL. It was only then that I truly felt that this genre was worth it and once I kept finding more I liked, I never picked up or read ones that gave me bad vibes ever again. To name a few: I have (or will) never read Dakaichi, Super Lovers, Jinx and Killing Stalking, they all give me the ick. Anyways OUR SUNNY DAYS IS WINNING 2023 FOR ME IN THE YAOI GENRE <3 <3
I'm curious. May I know what's the title of that BL you read where the seme wasn't a walking piece of shit and the uke has a backbone? IDK
Honto Yaju, this manga holds a special place in my heart ever since I first read it on mangafox and found it again on mangapanda. It will always be one of my favs to reread
