nah fr i did a double take when i read that so i totally agree with not wanting to see any more of that.
i think the expressiveness of the characters (and tbh the expressiveness of Eric in general) made this BL really stand out to me. I know it’s not likely but i hope i see more from this author/artist.
It reminds me of the one mangaka that did that NYU boy manga.
The one where the uke has an obsessive disorder about how he views his relationships and the older guy that works as an escort that feels like he cannot be loved.
Like, for some people the hyper-expressiveness might seem goofy, but to me it's unique and actually attracts me more than the standard style lol
there was a lil bit of uproar in the comments abt the race thing when Eric mentioned a gang, but i can say that i really cherished the cute and loving relationship between Eric and Nao. Not saying that that image didn’t appear or excusing it, but I was still able to enjoy this manga as a Black person.
