I think you need to expand your horizon because I've seen plenty of cg and 3d that looks exactly like animation. Some youtube creators have even made some tutorials that make it look 2d.

I don’t need to expand anything CGI can look like countless things and march countless things that doesn’t mean you aren’t going to notice it especially if it’s big.
