Agreed, I’m sick of readers shitting on every introverted, mild mannered ukes, not every uke has to be a sassy spitfire to be appreciated by readers.
The mc also has deep attachment issues, stemming from losing his mother and having a father that cheated on his terminally ill mom while outright treating him like he didn’t matter- the way he acts makes sense, but people be saying he’s an idiotic wallflower smh
I feel like some of you are a bit hard with our mc. I mean, yes he is on the weak side but come on, he is an introverted, lost his mother when he was a teenager, his dad is an asshole who cheated on a terminally ill woman and slapped his child on his own mother’s funeral. Like he said many time, he truly has no one beside the ML because this one also made sure he got barely friends on his own and that since they were children.
Mc is trapped in that toxic relationship literally since they were kids. It’s hard already to get out of toxicity when you are an adult but a kid who grown up in that environment ? Also, we can all sorta agree the ML is hella confusing, I would had fold so many times too ┗( T﹏T )┛
But i hope our little mc will realize how wrong the situation is and, if they are truly to end up together, they will both grown to become better person.
