I almost lost it with the translator's notes too, I kept on thinking to myself "aahh he's one of those people who are the target of artist's/author's fan services" / "what a fcking weirdo" and I hate fan service to the core. I loved that women exists here are powerful and not just "damsels in distress" but they were still there for a reason, fan service for "those people". I really can't with authors who can't seem live to just write a story like normal; without over sexualizing their female characters. There are also readers who just can't think outside of their pants and just continue to fuel this type of sht.
But there's one thing that kept me going, the women weren't that annoying and Frey didn't really show interest to any of them. Though, it still left a bitter taste in my mouth knowing that the author decided that MC's companion would be mostly women (even his best friend was made into one ರ_ರ, it's so obvious) and that they just have to blush around Frey and fall for him. How about just letting women exists in a story where they can be free from this box that they should fall in love with a man right there and then. It's just so annoying.
Lotsa people complain about this getting harem.. and I am with you.. on the first half i guess.. i dont think there will be harem now guyssss. The powerful he is, the less horny he gets apprently, as per Anastasia a.k.a the cyborg/mecha sage bestfriend thats now in a female golem ~haaaaah. I swear.. i didnt think i'd make it through all this chapter. Its full of cringe.. and I hated the blushings! And i hated the oh so tiny really mini skirts as uniforms.. and the over sexualization of females! My ghaaadddd i was scared i'd see hentai on the next few panels ╥﹏╥ but i pushed through! And it gets better eventually.. i'm so glad. I was expecting this to have the greek mythologies again.. but nope. They had hindu and norse gods and characters this time and I didnt expect this but the bigger characters turns out to be from the christian mythology. Also, i was really curious why was the cyborg named Anastasia, fun fact, i googled it* Anastasia apparently means ressurection. How cool izzaaat? Idk about u, but it was really cool when i found out hahaha there were really hard moments to overcome throughout this story.. but i was dragged on by the small cute and funny interactions they had with their comrades and friends.. i hope Frey wins and I hope they get Iris back. Iris had it really rough for 4000 years too.. it must have been hard fooling everyone and betraying her friends..
