i really love this story and have resonated with the story a lot, especially the parts about being taken advantage of by an adult while still only being a kid... the recent chapter though has truly confused me though. i thought the author was writing a wonderful work about the healing of a survivor of grooming, but now i am unsure.. no matter how much backstory and or emotional turmoil haruki faces she will still be the adult who manipulated a child for sexual favors to make herself feel better. there is no coming back from that..
i genuinely am confused as to where the author actually wants us to stand on haruki, but i can not in good conscience feel any sort of empathy and or sympathy for a groomer. i hope this chapter isnt a running problem in future developments, because i love this story a lot.. hopefully this is just a hiccup in the grand scheme of things...
