For better context: Cubelo is the son of the former leader of the Robin hood party. They were super popular with commoners and were hated by Nobles. Naturally, the 2nd and 3rd Knights order began trying to hunt them down because of the current main bad guy's plan was being ruined by them. They signed a treaty with the Robin Hood party when things were getting bad for the RH party.
The treaty basically says that they must stop all of their criminal activities and offer the head of the RH party and everyone else will be spared. However, the first Knights Order broke that treaty, enslaved the leader's son and killed most of the members of the RH party. This was illegal obviously. And thus, the "find your determination and resolve" arc is about him asking Second who bought him for help in getting his revenge.

Basically, Cubelo had a defiant, determined and anxious look as if he was biding his time to do something that he desperately wanted to do no matter what. And the MC respects people who are determined and / or seeking strength. Well, as long as they don't get in his way. That's why he took an instant liking to Cubelo.
why does this story keep trying to push some over the top "find your determination and resolve" arc for this Cubelo guy? did i forget or miss something from the earlier chapters about him, cause i don't remember ever seeing him in this story until a couple chapters ago.
now suddenly him and the MC are having some bromance bonding moments over trying to give Cubelo some kinda resolve for some reason? i'm so confused about the point of all this?
