what you guys think about muslim people?

I personally think that it is not my place to comment because I've never been to countries where Muslims aren't the majority. Pretty much I've lived all my life in Muslim countries but I've met people from all sorts of religions and none of them has actually been bad with me. In fact they've always been so sweet.
But the fact remains that most people think of us in a negative way. It usually doesn't bother me but sometimes you see a lot of negative comments and essays....that just make you depressed. I've never tried changing a perosn's opinion on Muslims (since I know they'll never try to accept the facts). Every one is entitled to their own opinion. But "preaching" hate about a particular religion or anything in general, greatly saddens me. There were times when these online comments got me so bad, I was afraid to visit YouTube, forums, etc... anymore
But it makes me really happy that there are sweet people like you out here who don't believe everything that media has to say and look deeper than just visual appearance.
(P.s all those terrorists and killings in name of Islam is bullshit...those people don't even know what Islam is)

(Well physically I've never have had to deal with stuff like this but the internet is another battle lol)

My country is one of the least religious countries in the world, I never meet any Muslim people so I never thought much about it. Until last year, I just thought of it as a strict religion and life must be hard for Muslim people, specially women. But then I read a book that completely changes my minds about that religion. The book called "The way of Islam", it is written by a Vietnamese woman who works a university professor in Holland, she spent over a year travelling to 13 countries in the middle east. It help me to learn many things about your religion and I introduce that book to my teachers and friends too. I hope I can have a Muslim friend in the future to teach me many new things about their religion and life. ^^

I'm a Christian living in Manila and I have lots of Muslim friends from all over the Philippines since I travel a lot locally. I even consider a couple of them as close friends. They're all friendly and kind just like everyone else. They feel the same emotions as we do and live as how normal humans do. Well, who does not want to live happily and peacefully? It's just so sad to think that there are many people here in our country who think negatively of Muslims just because of a very few who are members of extremist groups.

All mosleems i know are kind hearted, very religious, and always think about others around them. I'm a christian, and they always support me and my family when we have troubles. But sadly, lots of bad people named themself "mosleem" too, but what they did was not "mosleem" at all.

I muslim and i women..i never think that islam is hard...but what i think is islam very beautiful..islam protect women from them get a wrong road...like do something that will make them lose them life...as human in the world...seriously...i never think islam is strict religion..

I really happy that you trust real muslim not the fake muslim...many people that trust fake muslim..and every time them see muslin people them felt scary...and do something mean to them...

yeah I used to have wrong thoughts about your religion, that book really broadens my knowledge, my friend heard me saying about that book and she said:"Why you read about that religion, there are many Muslim terrorists you know? And the women have to wear those weird clothes, blah blah" Then I gave her that book, she read it two times before giving it back to me. Last year I read a news about some people blasphemed a woman and her child unreasonably just because they are Muslim, it made me feel so sad. Your religion is very beautiful I will to learn more about it(⌒▽⌒)

if you are sure about not being a terrorist, if you know that you are a good person then you must not mind other people's negative words about muslims. We can find bad -terrorist, etc. people among all the people from other religions. But this can not be generalized. We can't say all ..... religion members are BAD. You know all the people around the world has yin and yang emotions inside.

Very few? At least two of our major terrorist group are composed of Muslim people. Dude, do you even watch the news?

Well I dont mind..it just i want to know what people think about muslim...and i kind of sad for the word them say for people who not do something wrong...

Well being a Muslim myself I think we're open, great people. I know there's been a lot of negativity associated with Islam lately but I like to think there's other open minded people who'll understand that not every Muslim is like that. I like to think I'm just like any other 18 year old who just happens to believe in a different religion. I still listen to the same music which lately has been pop :3, I read the same mangas which mainly consist of yaoiXD and I dress the same so I think Muslims are just any other regular people you would see on the street, school, work etc.
