• I can't believe how trash her whole family is, along with the other nobles and servants who go along with harassing her. To be honest I don't like that the source of conflict is her birthmark (hence, being labeled a monster) since it's spinning the narrative to be overly complicated than what it actually is, along with the fact that it magically just poofs away after she regresses. I get it, beauty standards yada yada but also, a monster really? I just wish there was more to it, like maybe something in history or even just folktales that indicate birthmarks on the face = ostracize this person yk? For a stronger argument as to how all this BS for her started since it all feels like the whole society collectively just want to be assholes for the sake of the plot.
• On the other hand, the ridiculous plot point (that masquerade made my blood boil because all that's different was her dress and suddenly everyone thinks this girl is a gem of society like wtf it's that same girl you ppl were calling a monster y'all are so freaking dumb for that (╯°Д °)╯╧╧) and the abuse she went through from that birthmark justifies her inner conflict in my opinion. She was traumatised and gaslit all her life that she's worth less as a person just because of a "flaw" she had no control over (as well as her red eyes which are pretty asf btw). So I understand why she keeps hesitating to take off her mask and honestly it didn't take too long for her to muster up the courage to take it off even with the pressure of standing in the middle of a banquet hall where everybody can see her. For someone who suffered through abuse her whole life, I'd give her the credit for having the courage. Because even if her birthmark is gone now, all her bad experiences and emotional wounds won't just magically poof away as well.

Also I love that Estian (CP) is being the wingman for this relationship, I have major trust issues because of other manhwas but my guy is out here building the ship and making sure it'll sail faster for our leads ε=ε=(ノ≧∇≦)ノ
P.S. I'm so curious about her friend that gave her the ring, he's acting more like a guardian to her than her so-called "family". We also saw him for a bit and he had red eyes? I don't know if it's because he's using magic to connect with the crow (cuz he did have gold eyes from the flashback with Aryl), but a theory I have is maybe they're actually family yk since red eyes are rare in this world apparently.
