This is just. Wow. Got a big ol' stinker right here. Shuji has to be one of the worst characters I've read about recently, the story is poorly written regardless but it is made so much worse by these characters good god. Making Shuji's constant assault on Kanade out to be Kanade's fault is so beyond gross, and Kanade developing 'feelings' for Shuji is so clearly just out of manipulation and fear rather than any sort of actual love. Somehow I wasn't expecting this to be *that* trashy going into it, but idk what I expected either lol. It's disturbing how common and normalized these things are in media
