You probably don’t like it bc it’s not relatable for you. A lot of BL written by women is in the bottom’s pov bc women are usually also on the receiving side. Women readers of BL tend to like this bc they can picture themselves as the bottom and what they would do/how they would feel about the top.
Anyway, I love top povs. Imho we need more top pov BLs
In my case I actually love top pov, especially when the top is shy and the bottom is flirty. It exposes the top's inner thoughts and insecurities, making him seem more vulnerable and human, while making the bottom seem more in charge because I love a power bottom
