I think it's the "God" of the world who is controlling him. Since his goal is to make sure that our MC doesn't succeed (and that the story doesn't continues) and if Killian is in love with MC, the story changes. Which is what the "God" wants to avoid.
Yeah I totally get what u mean but that God isn't he losing control over the main characters ? That explains why Killian is starting to like our lovely FL but why is Killian's brother still so influenced that God ? Then that means that he really thinks like that ? That's what i don't understand
Well he is slowly losing influence- also, Killian is the one least influenced by the god since he is the one who spends the most time FL. I would say that both Killian's brother and OG FL are still under the influence.
