Idk if this has anything to do with what you said but I get how you feel because I feel the same thing about many mangas/manhwas I read when I was younger but now I can't reread, one example of this is painter of the night, when I was younger I was so in love with the story but now that I want to reread is impossible, the abuse is more than what I can handle.
(Btw, I want to make clear I still don't read this story)
loved this when i was young but its hard to reread... kirara looks like a literal child and it gets worse every chapter
