I think he really didn't want to remember the moment. Ofc he did remember it but you know how much work it takes to report someone. He didn't want to ever see her and didn't want to remember about the incident and to describe it and everything in front of other people. He did not want to accept it

A lot of comments focus on the lack of justice but that's probably what made this all the more realistic. The rape scene truly left me shaking, and the aftermath is even more heartbreaking. But the way that absolutely nothing is done is just... exactly how it happens in real life. The omega doesn't 'get better' through retribution and the alpha doesn't go out to get revenge and we don't even know what happens to the bastard. They just help each other, because it is what they can do. They heal as best as they can, which doesn't make it all better and it doesn't erase what happened, and that's... bittersweet, but also leaves me with fluttering optimism that maybe we all can heal with time too, here in the real world. Also their kid is adorable!
