He is never sincere . He has admitted to so many mistresses. Without even asking about a man in FL's house, ( her brother ) he immediately dumps FL, and readily thinks of getting another mistress. I have no idea why he changes his mind about separating from FL when he finds out they're not siblings. There's not even a hint that he's ready to commit. It's so sudden it doesn't makes sense.
