I think this response to such an event is quite realistic to be fair. I would be resigned to my fate, too.
Remember how the human mind works under great stress and pain. She was mistreated for years, most likely half of her life.
This reaction and lack of interest in anything is surprisingly realistic. She's in despair.
That’s very true but the title gave her such a strong impression that it seemed it would be a typical strong revenge heroine. Instead of this, they kind of picked and chose what’s realistic and what’s not. That’s it’s unbalanced for me.
She seems to have zero drive. Like they falsely accused you, imprisoned you, and you’re still not doing shit even when you’re free. Your family treated you like shit and you did nothing. You have MAGICAL POWERS and SWORDSMANSHIP and all you can say is “I wish someone would save me..” SAVE YOURSELF.
