1. Juergen's wife knows something is amiss regarding to him not being the rightful heir correct? And it's because of the baby right?
2. Ely wants to send April away so she can possess a social status right? And currently she'll go because that is what is told of her to do?

•I think chapter 132 gives hints to why she was betrayed. The high priest at the time had a diary that was filled of records when the King at the time founded and named Avril (Cal is reading what he thinks is a novel). This high priest knew his #1 thing was to be loyal to the lord. He was basically writing how the high mage was apart of this association who basically reaped benefits from war. And would use those things to make things for Avril. But he knew the black dragon was the one who came to help guide people near the brink of death. However, it seemed the king and the high mage kept forgetting that. The high priest realized that Avril was the one and only dragon and I guess that God herself couldn't killed her. And because he said humans are like God, and they lie betray and repeat I guess he thought killing Avril would save her from the pain. So they used the lords power and killed (idk if they killed her so they could be like God). After that, he said the kings children would have silver hair and only be watchers not killers. High mage Aria left, and high priest himself is afraid of the outcome these records may bring but he knows he turned his back on his lord.

THANK YOU!!!! i had to reread these recent chapters bc i think i read them too fast the first time.. i feel so bad for avril its seems she trusted them a lot and had fun memories with them ;;; and i wonder what lady aria did after leaving and i wanna know the thought process of the first king like WHYYY did he do that!! and wait a min,, the high priest is basically saying that he took his own life after that right? bc he is a 'traitorous' priest who cannot love the lord? omy.

Honestly, same I think I read too fast lol. And yeah I think the priest might of unalived himself. I'm not sure the motive behind the king but I wonder does it have something to do with power or being the most powerful. Or perhaps because they knew she came down to kill, they did it to her first.

this is the story so far, and this is really long.. i looove the story sm but i kept forgetting the plot so i wrote this on my notes, and im just gonna share this here :))
april is a 12 yo orphan. her sister got sold off to be married but hung herself after a month, then her dad sold her off to merchants. the asteria duchess bought her to be ely's personal maid. ely is the 2nd prince of the empire, he went to live at the dukedom as a 'sick' child so his older brother could be crown prince without issues. for some reason, april could see a 'grim reaper' whenever someone is dying. she saw it before her sis died, her dad, then marie, and then the ford lawyer.
THERE IS NO ROMANCE between april and ely!!!! ely is an adult lol i forgot if they mentioned his age.. but he takes care of april as a guardian/father figure.
ely is the 2nd prince and is the generation's chosen descendant of the first king. he is supposed to be the crown prince instead of his older brother, juergen. but his teacher and the empress hid this truth by changing juergen's hair to silver and placing a seal on ely. ely and his older bro are in good terms but the empress doesnt really care about ely. the teacher guilt-trips him into thinking that he is a burden to his brother thats why he went to live with the duchess. juergen is the empress and emperor's son, while ely has a different father (????THE CHANCELLOR OMG??).
the empire's history:
acc to the books, the first king together with a wizard and priest, defeated the black dragon. the goddess admired his courage and made him the first emperor. the chosen one of each generation of the king is gifted with superior abilities. but the truth is that the black dragon was just sealed, and this story is then passed down to the king's descendants in order for them to kill the dragon's spirit over and over again. as the story progresses, it is revealed that the black dragon, avril, is just a little girl who was made by the goddess to guide human souls during death (like a grim reaper). the first king, wizard and priest took her in and then betrayed her (not yet clear why).

ragi is the next head of the wizard association, a young genius. he is friends with ely and is the one placing ely's seal now. teacher is the current head. seems like the teacher lived a loooong time, ever since the first first king and avril was alive?
callian got his first oracle when he was a kid, the goddess told him to not do anything n just watch. when he grew up and understood the situation, he tried to pray to the god abt it but the god scarred him for his disobedience. that's why he fled to the dukedom and hid from his holiness. there, he did as he was told and just watched ely ;;;;;;;;
