I wouldn't call her a bitch, bc of the way that royalty and the society they live in works, it's logical that she would think that way bc in that Era women were nothing more them baby machines and objects that will stronger the bonds between royalties and higher society so she knew either way shw would be sold out a d even if she wouldn't, she still won't be happy
Bc at the end of the day power does change people and he can be the best kind and brother were but there would probably be the time when he would have to choose between his country and her and bc his a king, he would have to choose the country. She just fasted up the process so that neither of them are that hurt in the end
