TL;DR is that this is a work of fiction and it doesn't HAVE to resemble real life. Just stop reading if you're expecting completely healthy bdsm and are going to keep crying about it not being healthy EVERY chapter. This isn't it. The power imbalance from the get go isn't real bdsm dynamics. This comic is using KINK instead of vanilla sex, but the premise is the same. EXCEPT it's not. Again, hear me out. Kink isn't vanilla sex. It's a power dynamic that's even more psychological.
