much better than the main story but still meh,

I've had enough of that "can't get over someone's ex so using someone else instead" trope from the previous one where the uke there was using the seme in this story to get over his first seme, and then it's replayed again here with the side seme using the uke to get over his diseased fiancee (uke's sister);

though it's much more complex character-wise, I just couldn't with the uke being childlike and perverted at the same time? like I know that combo can work somewhere, probably someone has already pulled it off, but not this. It's like sensei just picked their most preferred uke traits and blended it together but it didn't mix that well in the end. How can the uke sleep with countless people without even being curious about romance and dating? he knows he has a kink that he's quite troubled with and even went on to study human sciences for it, but it never crossed his mind to seek therapy? Like bruh, you're in the field already, you want to be better, then be better, instead of choosing to get worse and worse.

Seme here is quite the gary stu too since uke wouldn't be better if it wasn't for him, why again? cause the freaking uke isn't even trying to get better in the first place before the seme came, he just internally wallows on his perverted tendencies. Seme is also lowkey looking like he's on a rebound-- he quickly moved on after 5 years worth of relationship was over, became infatuated with the uke, and yet when seeing his ex, he still gazes lovingly at him-- at the same person who openly admitted that they cheated on him and casually asked them to break up.

All of this just makes me doubt their lovey dovey moments like, you say you love each other now, but what about a few years? guess it would work since both do communicate with each other better by the end, unlike with the main couple whom I really just can't trust to still be together if ever they become LDR again, even seeing them at the end of this work was nothing to be excited for.
