this side story is so meaningless. i don’t understand why the author had to go and make ANOTHER person (do-hyeok) suffer SA and a gang rape. like i don’t understand why he had to go through all of that when you could have just moved him somewhere else and get therapy. i also don’t know why it had to be the siwoo and do-hyeok pairing at all, it doesn’t make any sense. siwoo was okay as a character in the main story, but then he went and messed himself up when he SA’d do-hyeok like i don’t understand these authors’ obsession with SA and rape it’s gross and disgusting it didn’t need to be here. these side stories were pointless it quite literally leaves you with nothing. do-hyeok is irredeemable and even siwoo is too. they were better off as they were: side characters who were in and done once the main story was over. for anyone that has anything to say to redeem either of these character, the simple fact is you cant. i feel bad that do-hyeok went thru that god awful gang rape, but the story did nothing for him. it didn’t try to get him help it only made him stay the same. it’s hard to justify his actions just because he was SA’d and you can’t justify what siwoo did either JUST BECAUSE he’s friends with suha, he became what he hated most. i don’t like either of these characters overall because of these things it’s hard to feel complete sympathy for either of them, they should’ve been left alone.
