I reread this story only to remember how no other manhua can top how shit it is for a hetero romance. Anyways imma rant with spoilers involved. The only character I truly liked was probably the son and Yie (FL’s blonde girl friend). She had lots of guts to her and stood her ground, didn’t let anyone boss her around and would talk back to the fboy husband she had. Surprisingly the fboy husband quickly changed so I give him the benefit of the doubt since it didn’t take too long (though he did cheat during the beginning of their marriage. Despite the fact that he was forced into the marriage- he still had no respect for the pregnant yie he decide to sleep with). The only reason why I’m not on his case too much is cause the ML of this story is beyond garbage and the fboy husband at least changed quick. - I’ve already said stuff about the ML, pretty self-explanatory: a r@pist, stole the child from the FL’s womb, used the baby’s blood to save his first love, have the kid to his first live and let the kid think that was his mother. Then acted like scum again when he reunited with the FL, threatened the FL, cheated on his first love with the FL, smooching and saying he loves his first love and wanted to marry her going against his family while banging the FL, ignored her when she called for help, etc. - Now my unexpected hatred is for the FL. Despite the time skip where she supposedly becomes an independent woman- that’s basically only appearance. She’s still a weak girl who can’t do shit. Her bestie had more guts than her and I would’ve preferred if the FL was her bestie and not her. The only time she used her brain was when it wasn’t necessary, during the amnesia part where she left the guy that literally only ever cared for her and kept her happy. Note the fact that the last time she saw the ML, he ABANDONED her and was in the process of marrying his first love but failed. Had it not been for the fact that his first love was exposed for participating in murdering his grandma- I bet he still would’ve gone through with marrying her since he never believed his own family.
It wasn’t until she was exposed that he truly thought of the FL. He worried about after he finished with the first love. Then the FL literally accepted his confession with a simple sorry and also regained all her memories. Despite being r@ped, threatened, lied to that her child was dead, had her son raised by another woman, etc. she was dumb enough to take him back. She didn’t even witness the moment he saved her and her son, so there really was no actual character development she saw. She took a simple help and that’s all it took. She’s still the same weak girl she was in the first chapter.
