i would have preferred the child missing in the story rather than seeing this weird ass scene of him acting as if his own son is a dog that should sleep outside in the kennel because he's jealous????? of his own child??? a f infant obviously needing his mother's attention??? and the kid being weirdly smart. you can make him smart without making it nonsensical.
