I think Jeremy has like family love towards Jeremy and as he said " He will not do anything that will harm Shuri" So my theory is he is relating to the rumours going about Stepson and the stepmother love relationship. So Jeremy has no plan to do it like that. And he asked Norra "What will you do if Shuri feels the same? " To check how loyal will Norra be to Shuri.

Indeed Jeremy likes her. When Nora asks him about his feelings he gets offended because it's not something impure and he wouldn't ever jeopardize Shuri's life.. He's also somewhat jealous of Nora because he knows he can't be in a relationship with Shuri but Nora can.. In his anger Jeremy just spouted what if Shuri liked him back but didn't expect Nora's honest feelings to be so pure.. So he backed off and accepted Nora's feelings for Shuri..

I'm confused. so does Jeremy like shuri on not because I didn't catch well the talk between him and norra in the battle I know that norra is in love with her but what about Jeremy what are his feelings and why did he get mad?????
