Nah Dan is in delulu land, he needs the cold water approach
it’s exactly because he’s delulu that i don’t think he’ll listen to such an abrupt and agressive approach. especially not when he was insulting dan too. if he does listen i’ll be very surprised bc it just doesn’t seem realistic for him to.
Honestly, if it is at that point (that this doesn't snap him out of it). Nothing anyone says to Dan will reach him until he hits rock bottom.
Also, that guy was intentionally trying to be a jerk, so talking nicely to Dan and walking him through the situation is unrealistic
as much as the ex is right, his approach is all wrong. i understand why he was, but he definitely shouldn’t have been agressive. i can already see dan taking it the wrong way and just not listening to him. i really hope he doesn’t but i have a feeling he’ll somehow twist it to defend jaekyung.
