There’s this shojo series called Honey Bitter where for a lot of the story the main character was dating your typical nice guy, but at least to me, I didn’t care for the character. He was kinda boring. Throughout the story, her ex was around, and he’s your typical stoic, cool guy. In the end she broke up with nice guy (she didn’t hook up with her ex, though). Anyway, I feel like this story might follow a similar route, except that here, Ian and TJ have never stopped hooking up and someone might end up dead.
