Age difference

They are in love what can you do? Besides they are trying their hardest not to cross that line till Take reaches high school.

At least they're waiting, but I do not believe in prepubescent children having the ability to really fall in love. I was one a few years ago, and trust me on this, most of kids cannot and do not fall in REAL love. Heck, most adults never fall in love. As long as they do not have sex till he he is legal (17 seems a good age), I am fine for a relationship of this age difference. I still find it uncomfortable, though.

Oh,I'm sure many would object to that, I guess you have not but I did and I'm sure many did, and sex is just another way of expressing your feelings,you want a personal connection with that person. (I know sex is just sex or an urge to some.)If you fall in love it doesn't matter if that person is 10 years your senior nor the gender, that's why falling in love is a mysterious thing because sometimes you just don't get why you're even in love with that person. Anyways, let just hope that those two could wait 5 more years.( at least)

I think you are mistaken about something... The Japnese school system is different from US's. So when the character is graduating middle school hes actually 14-15 years old ^^ Elementary school goes until 6th grade in japan. Oh just to be clear I was talking about Teens/adults, I'm not sure about preadolescents I have some crushes but nothing serious. Take seems to be very serious and matured for his age so perhaps what he feels for Ken really is love.

My problem is pedophilia. I hate pedos soooo much that if you have a huge age gap, if you cannot wait till that child is not a child anymore to consummate your relationship I will wan to murder you with my own hands. Cause the worst thing someone can do in this world is to be a pedophile a zoophilie, and own a slave or have a slave master mentality. I do not care if you're a serial killer (if you murder babies/such as human and animals/by slowly torturing them), but if you sexually abuse them and torture them in other ways or keep them as slaves, I do not believe in prison for you. There should be a bill in all countries around the world that kills pedos when they're caught. There is no redemption for people like that.

I do (sort of) know the school system in Japan; which is why I said he was 12, because I believe one spends four years in middle school and enters when they're twelve and leave when they're 15.

The thing is, Take is just too mature for his age. I don't think Kento fell in love with him because of his age or anything. From what I am seeing, the relationship they have is more than physical attraction. There is sexual attraction, but their love did not arise from that in the beginning. I am fine with it since they are trying to hold off from doing anything until Take is of age.

To be fair, they didn't date when Take was 12. They didn't kiss (with Kento kissing back) until Take was 13 or 14, and they didn't have sex until he was 15. I am really bothered by statutory rape that occurs too often in yaoi, but I personally felt this was well done. Kento is really aware of the fact that Take is young and practices self restraint because of it. As a mother to a little boy, I get ragey with a lot of yaoi's underage/statutory rape storylines, but I feel like if I were Take's mother, I would support how Kento approached it. But maybe I am wrong. I don't know. During the waiting period, they spent so much time apart, not seeing each other for moths at a time. Even if they kissed a couple times, the time in between was crucial, because it showed that their feelings were genuine, and they were not just drowning in the heat of the moment. I get why it is upsetting to some, but I just wanted to point those things out in case it helps. I really think Yamomoto-sensei made a considerable effort to be sensitive to the subject.

I'm sorry, but I cannot, for the life of me, think it's appropriate for a 25 year old to date a 13 year old. Just because they got married when she turned 18 doesn't make it okay. I really hope things do work out for them, and that their love is genuine, but the 25 year old should have waited. Statutory rape is against the law in most places for a reason. That said, I do hope that now that your friend is an adult, her love with her husband has reached a healthy place and that they are so happy.

I don't think they are disgusting, I promise! I just have a little sister and a son, so I feel protective. I am happy to hear that they are happy and just so in love and it was never about sex. I get that. I am married to a man who is five years older than me, which, at some points in our lives, would have been viewed as highly inappropriate. But I was an adult when I met him, so it wasn't an issue for us. But I doubt I would have not fallen for him if I had been younger just because we were younger. I get where you are coming from, and I am sorry if my words seemed offensive. I have seen my share of child predators, unfortunately, when I volunteered as a victim advocate, so there are many cases where children need to be protected from older predators. I am so happy that isn't the case with your friend. I know plenty of happy married couples with an age difference that large or even greater, and I hope your friend and her husband are happy together like that for life.

Who cares man. Kento did say he was gonna wait until Take is in highschool. Plus once Take is 20, Kento is only 25, they only have a 5 year age gap. This is pretty normal. It might of sounded disgusting because the age was 12 and 17 not 20 and 25.
