It’s trying to give those vibes but it’s not hitting the spot. Himari is trying to be Nanami but she doesn’t come close to Nanami in my opinion.
There’s also a bit of a Nurarihyon feel when it comes to the group of friends but also not pulling it off. Then you have the switching between human and Yokai.
I liked it. It’s cute but because I kept getting vibes from those two other manga that I absolutely love, it was rubbed me wrong sometimes.
All the ppl who said that are the ones who never read the manga and only judged it through the anime trailer. Why would u even take their opinions seriously when they never read this?? Honestly I love both
