IKR DJFJSJD I was actually so invested in the plot (because prior to the ending chapters, the politics and the nature of her postpartum depression and the complexities of marriage were actually very well written), her illness, how Vicente and her relationship would evolve, and her leading her family as a strong matriarch BUT NO WHAT THE HECK HAPPENED?!?!?
I loved this story so much, it was so well-written (keyword being was). But WHAT THE ACTUAL FK is that ending??? He literally admitted to wanting her to lose all hope and be completely dependent on him and he literally caused her entire family to die. And she chose to bloody save him and be together with him? Absolute garbage, I can't even
