Among the Josei's I've read this is decent! It touched contractual employment and company restructuring. Then both MCs have effed up past but they solved them on their own while their partner was just there as support. No saving each other or forcing the other to face the issues.
The author was not that harsh with the MCs because I feel they paced the major issues to pop up.
And another thing is I appreciate the ML's father. I know he should've banished the wife but based on what he first worried about, Manato, his concern was the kid. The father was more concerned about the present, took some of the blame and recognizing that all of them were partly to blame. Yes, Taichi was only young back then and he was a victim but I am assuming the dad also considered Taichi was a teen, a young adult and it continued on until he was much older, hence he would have known it was wrong. But what do I know, I just appreciate he didn't blame it all on Taichi because other parents would, fiction or even irl.
Takeru, idk if I want more chapters with him in. He is sick. If he gets the same treatment as Maria, hopefully, he won't be back.....his story is done.
